The Ford Escape comes with three different powertrains for 2009, all of them revised significantly from previous years. Models with the 3.6 designation come with a 280-horsepower, 3.6-liter V-6 engine, while 4.2 models come with a 350-horsepower, 4.2-liter V-8. For 2009, the Jeep Grand Cherokee is available in four trim levels--Laredo, Limited, Overland and SRT8. All but the SRT8 are available in either rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive, while the SRT8 is 4WD only.
